The ritual is stated as follows:

1. All party bound by the promise will have to say “hear us, the promise beast.”
2. Any party bound by the promise then declare the promise itself.
3. And then declare the price to pay.
4. All parties declare the end of ritual: “bear witness, the promise beast!”

The language being used doesn't matter as long as it isn't the standard language. Do not attempt to cheat the beast!

My friend just told me about the Beast of Promise. She says it is a ruthless beast without form, who sees either a promise being fulfilled or a price being paid. I didn't trust her, a formless beast sounds like the most commonly made-up tale, but she insisted so we did “the Ritual of the Promise Beast”; we made a promise that we would meet at the bistro a day later, and whoever does not show up, she would have to drink the blendmaster's tea. Then I stayed at home. Past the meet-up time, nothing happened. My room was just as usual, no sign of any creature except myself. So I was going to tell my friend that the beast doesn't exist. But just when I was reaching for my phone on the table, beside it was a dusty cup! I promise it was not my cup! Unmistakably, the liquid inside it was definitely blendmaster's tea... I tried to call my friend to tell her about this, but my phone has no signal! That has never happened! Then I thought maybe I will just meet her in person, so I rushed to the door, yet I can't push it open?! Then, I might be delusional, but I think I heard heavy, bestial breathing from the other side? Then I have a theory, perhaps if the beast must see I pay the price, then I will really have to drink the tea... I did that (what a foul tea!!!!), and after that my phone was functional again, and the door just opened! Oh, and just when I was checking the doors, leaving the empty cup behind me, the cup vanished! I guess I have to believe in the beast now!
